Color Darkroom Techniques - 10/28/2004
I have built and worked in 17 darkrooms. Yes I have moved around a lot. From Boston to the upper regions of the Arctic. I am currently living 200 miles above the arctic circle in a very remote whaling village of only 750 people. I have been developing color film since October of 1969! I have learned a lot over the years and I would like to share my knowledge for any of those interested. I would say the most important "theory" to learn is color relationships: I.E. Primary & secondary colors and how they affect each other. I hope to have some pages on my web site, showing how these work together. additive colors or subtractive colors. How do they work? how are they used? RGB & CMY. i CAN BE contacted: majik@otz.net or super@otz.net I am available to any or all inquires, I will answer all correspondence immediately. I work 7 days a week 20 hours per day !! In 1982 I was invited on a whale hunt by the eskimos of a small whaling community. I had no water. I had to melt snow to mix the chemicals to develop my color film. Talk about a challenge!! View the results: http://www.majikimaje.com/gallery.htm
