8 X 10 sheet film vs. the best digital camera...... - 12/31/2004
No comparison.. end of story!!! It is very obvious that few are aware of Process cameras that use sheet film up to 30 x 40 inches. There is not a digital camera made that can begin to compare with the results of what an 8 x 10 camera is capable of producing. That is why film will live on and on.. X-rays use huge sheets of film that are still used in the industry today. A 35 mm camera is not capable of producing 30" X 40" Gallery type RAZOR SHARP posters, There is not a digital camera in the world today that can come close to the razor sharp quality that the industry DEMANDS!!! BUT NEWBEES AND WANNABESS.. live in a different world, unaware of what true quality consists of.
