Andrea Bocelli and my camera 'or lack thereof'
Here's just a funny story concerning my attempt to photograph an event --
I saw Andrea Bocelli at Universal Amphitheatre a while back and attempted to sneak in my Canon A95, bad idea. They wouldn't let me in, so I had to run back to my car and I was twenty-minutes late getting in. Lesson learned, I guess.
The show was excellent though, he sang a whole bunch of new songs from his CD "Andrea," a really beautiful collection of songs if you enjoy the Italian language. Anyone else a fan here, it was my first time seeing him perform? I would share some pictures of the show, but of course....
I wonder how they want to enforce a camera ban when there are many mobile phones with an inbuilt camera or even cameras in checque-card format...
I never understood those bans anyway - I guess many people would send around those images they took or even put them on the net - lots of free advertising!
The pro paid by the mangaers has the better angle and equipment anyway, I dont think a few amateur shots would put him out of business.
The same goes for photos in museums (as long as you don't use a flash).
