feedback for FiftyCrows International Photo Fund
The FiftyCrows Foundation, the new home of the International Fund for Documentary Photography, is a non-profit with a mission to support documentary photographers worldwide working towards positive social change. Located in San Francisco, California, FiftyCrows includes a beautiful gallery with continually changing exhibitions, a fine print program which sells master photographers’ work such as Sebastio Salgado and Mary Ellen Mark, and the International Photo Fund Competition, an annual competition which awards grant money to documentary photographers from seven different regions of the world.
We are considering adding a reduced rate student photographer level to our member program and would like your feedback: What benefits do you think students would like to see attached to membership? What would entice you to spend $25 or so a year to be part of an organization such as ours? Discounts on photo supplies? A subscription to publications such as PDN or B&W? Special invitations to lecture or salon events in our gallery? Please e-mail me with any and all ideas. You can learn more about us at www.fiftycrows.org.
