This is an open discussion forum for users to discuss WebRing features, wishes, thoughts, etc. QUESTIONS about and PROBLEMS with the System should be posted in detail using the support forums in Help. Negative, derogatory or personal comments will be deleted. Sadly, due to spamming and anonymous trashing of other users we have had to restrict posting to signed in members.

Suggestion: Increase Form Field Sizes - 08/06/2004
I am posting this suggestion in the suggestion forum, the managers forum and the general forum.

Summary: Increase the form field sizes

The pages used to customize emails have nice big form fields.

The subject allows 65 characters
The text area has 18 rows of 72 characters.

This is larger than the form fields on many other pages.

Form: email webring members:
Subject: 50 characters
Text: 5 rows of 44 characters

Form: webring application
URL: 50 characters
Title: 50 characters (with a max setting of 55)
Description: 4 rows of 50 characters

Form: edit site info
URL: 70 characters
Title: 60 characters (with a max setting of 54)
Description: 5 rows of 70 characters

Increase the form field sizes across the system allowing more characters in width (e.g., 72) and more rows of text (e.g, 18-20)
